One of the fossil sites in the
Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site, this spectacular 2,2 billion year old
cavern boasts stalactites and stalagmites of up to 15m high, rim stone pools,
cave pearls, Madonna, mushroom, pop corn and straw formations. Tours are
conducted on well-lit pathways with no bending or crawling involved. Open daily
to the public from 08H00 and now open to adventure caving outside normal
business hours. This will involve an 18m abseil and a guided tour of the caves
in the presence of a SATOUR-registered guide. Duration will be 2 hours with 2
options:

All prices based on minimum of 1-8 persons. Should a group be larger than 8 persons then a price will be quoted. Sunday morning is priced per person and on a first come first serve basis. |

Day or night drives, horse trails, fossil tours etc, can be packaged into the perfect day event. |

Only 45 minutes from Johannesburg, is Bats Cave. Entrance into the cave is by a 17m abseil through the roof into a large cavern. Thereafter a skilled guide will lead you through a maze of adventure. Duration is 2 hours. Bigger groups and schools most welcome. No facilities on site. . |
