Horse Trails

The Danielsrust Horse Trails traverse some of the last remaining big farms in Gauteng. Situated in the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site, 40 km northwest of Johannesburg, one can view over 700 head of game-from horseback. Trails take you through the Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve and Danielsrust Reserve  you can visit the spectacular Wonder cave, or package with scrumptious lunches or breakfasts. Overnight facilities are available.

All trails are guided, on well groomed and trained horses. A minimum of two riders are necessary, one per horse. An indemnity form must be completed. Trails run every day subject to confirmation. Trail organizers cannot be held responsible for cancellations due to bad weather conditions. All trails are administered by Conserv Booking & Information Office and must be pre-booked. Registration for trails takes place at the Conserv Booking & Information Office, and the fee is payable on arrival. Overnight facilities are available with hot water and braai facilities.Tour Operators rates are available.
